Wireless Pinhole Camera-Personal Story:

Wednesday, July 1st, 2009

Hey y’all, this is Sarah. This site is dedicated to my two nieces, Kimberly and Stephanie, and my experiences and adventures with the wireless pinhole camera. I started this blog because I was so grateful to the pinhole camera for keeping my little treasures safe, and want to tell the world our story so that others can benefit from our experiences.

During the week, when I’m not with my nieces, I still worry about what happens to them. I’m a bigger worrywart than their mom! So when their trusted nanny gave her two weeks’ notice, I was worried about what type of care my nieces would get. My sister got a great deal on childcare, but there was no way she would be able to afford the same quality or security, so I helped her look for a good daycare. The best ones were too far and the closest ones didn’t have any openings, so my sister decided to hire a less experienced nanny with few decent references. She’d exhausted her avenues in the limited time she had to find a new nanny. That’s when I took to searching online for a possible solution or advice, and after hours of digging through forums, I started looking into the purchase of a nanny cam. For a while, I couldn’t believe I was even considering getting one of those. I ran the idea by my sister, and she went nuts, saying that she would never spend money on something like that, and that it seemed unnecessary. I pointed out that it was for her kids, but she still resisted.

I went out on a limb and decided to spring for a 2.4 ghz camera to spy on the nanny myself. My sister was furious until I showed her what it could do. I told her to place it in a covert location and searched for it myself. It took me quite a while to find where the camera was hidden. That seemed to make her feel a lot better. I took this to mean that she was just afraid the nanny would get upset if she found out that, while alone with the girls, hidden in the living room in a place where it could pick up not only video, but audio, was my mini watchdog. My little demonstration showed her she had nothing to worry about.

For less than it would have cost my sister to hire the nanny for a week, I was able to give her the gift of security. The 2.4 ghz transmitter offered such good audio quality that we were sure that if anything went wrong in another room, we would know. The video couldn’t catch anything when people stepped out of the frame, but we still heard them. With the camera’s help, she got rid of many candidates who were prone to yelling and others with scary tempers. This last nanny worked out great, but my sister still keeps an eye on the video, even if only to watch what her kids are up to when she’s not there.

Wireless Pinhole Camera- Considering Buying One?

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009

Hi! I’m Sarah, and I want to tell the world about how a WirelessPinholeCamera has helped my family feel safer. The main reason that I purchased one of these was for security. If you are like me and want to use technology to improve your life, purchasing one of these wireless mini cameras is one decision you won’t regret. Before you choose the hidden camera that is right for you, however, here are a few things to keep in mind.

The first is where you want to place your mini camera. If you can’t risk having the camera being found, or would find it difficult to wire such a location, you will want to opt for the wireless pinhole camera. With a 2.4ghz transmitter, you do not sacrifice any of the audio or video quality, and you don’t give away your camera’s covert position.

The second thing to consider is how long you want your battery to last. Currently wireless pinhole cameras can run for over 16 hours. You can get even longer hours out of your mini camera if you use a high capacity battery pack. Another important factor to consider is the legality of setting up a hidden camera in your home. You should consult with local law enforcement to make sure that your state and county allow you to use these to record individuals without their consent.

Another option could be, when using the hidden camera to monitor caretakers, to advise them that they are being recorded and obtain their consent. This way, they are aware that whatever wrongdoing they might commit will be recorded, which can serve to prevent them from taking inappropriate liberties in your home, and also encourage them to be on their best behavior.

Wireless Pinhole Camera First Post:

Wednesday, June 24th, 2009

Hey there. My name is Sarah Smalls, and this blog is dedicated to my nieces and the wireless pinhole camera that helps keep them safe. Since I can’t be there for them all the time, I talked my sister into letting the wireless pinhole camera watch out for her kids. No one can take your place when it comes to raising your children, not even a nanny, and if you have a stranger caring for your children eight hours of the day, it stands to reason that you would want to know your children are in the right hands.
