Wireless Pinhole Camera-Personal Story:

Hey y’all, this is Sarah. This site is dedicated to my two nieces, Kimberly and Stephanie, and my experiences and adventures with the wireless pinhole camera. I started this blog because I was so grateful to the pinhole camera for keeping my little treasures safe, and want to tell the world our story so that others can benefit from our experiences.

During the week, when I’m not with my nieces, I still worry about what happens to them. I’m a bigger worrywart than their mom! So when their trusted nanny gave her two weeks’ notice, I was worried about what type of care my nieces would get. My sister got a great deal on childcare, but there was no way she would be able to afford the same quality or security, so I helped her look for a good daycare. The best ones were too far and the closest ones didn’t have any openings, so my sister decided to hire a less experienced nanny with few decent references. She’d exhausted her avenues in the limited time she had to find a new nanny. That’s when I took to searching online for a possible solution or advice, and after hours of digging through forums, I started looking into the purchase of a nanny cam. For a while, I couldn’t believe I was even considering getting one of those. I ran the idea by my sister, and she went nuts, saying that she would never spend money on something like that, and that it seemed unnecessary. I pointed out that it was for her kids, but she still resisted.

I went out on a limb and decided to spring for a 2.4 ghz camera to spy on the nanny myself. My sister was furious until I showed her what it could do. I told her to place it in a covert location and searched for it myself. It took me quite a while to find where the camera was hidden. That seemed to make her feel a lot better. I took this to mean that she was just afraid the nanny would get upset if she found out that, while alone with the girls, hidden in the living room in a place where it could pick up not only video, but audio, was my mini watchdog. My little demonstration showed her she had nothing to worry about.

For less than it would have cost my sister to hire the nanny for a week, I was able to give her the gift of security. The 2.4 ghz transmitter offered such good audio quality that we were sure that if anything went wrong in another room, we would know. The video couldn’t catch anything when people stepped out of the frame, but we still heard them. With the camera’s help, she got rid of many candidates who were prone to yelling and others with scary tempers. This last nanny worked out great, but my sister still keeps an eye on the video, even if only to watch what her kids are up to when she’s not there.
